I love the class too much to change at this point though!ĭo lots of experimenting, take your monk into semi-challenging fights and see how easy you find it to hit the buttons you need to, and change things until it just clicks into place for you and begins to feel effortless. Monk is one of those classes where the keybinds HAVE to be perfect for how you play or your experience is awful - some people like that about it but I find it to be a pain. I’ve finetuned my binds over time to suit me and the changes in my setup, but it’s mostly stayed the same - either an MMO mouse or lots of modifiers, or best case scenario, bits of both depending on what’s more comfortable for you at the time. Simply too high on healing output as well as a boost in damage. Level 30 Tier: Chi wave, Chi wave, Chi wave, NEVER anything else. You then have an extra Roll in order to close gaps for kicks or his Flying serpent kick. In fact when I tried other classes later I was like “Where’s all the skills!?” In other words, when the monk rolls to you, you roll away. That unfortunately is probably what you’ll have to do When I first picked this game up monk was the first class I tried and I’ve stuck by it so I’ve had a decent amount of experience with how overwhelming it is, especially in terms of keybinds. So far seems good, gotta test it out further, but I guess this was a good start already. ![]() Ok guys, so after all your suggestions and help I started messing around with my setup, took every ability out of the binds and started placing them again, and trying out stuff based on your suggestions. Regarding BRM Monk I don’t find any issues with the amount of buttons btw, got it all setup fine. To cut on some buttons I did a couple keybinds for MW where I had dmg abilities coupled with healing abilities, which would change on the type of target (harm/help), but since I can’t target myself unless I press my portrait, those macros felt kinda useless in solo scenarios like leveling, wPvP, etc…Īny tips to deal with this amount of abilities? So, my question is, for either MW and WW are there abilities that can be ignored and left out the bars? Either in PvE or PvP scenarios. ![]() I mean, I am a Hunter main, and Hunters (MM) are the ones that usually complain about “too many buttons” yet I don’t have any trouble there, maybe because I am more familiar with the class and I have my setup all figured out and neat, but idk, MW and WW Monk, to me at least, feel much more cluttered. I am leveling a Monk as Brewmaster to be my tank, however I was swapping specs just to check how they worked, in case I wanted to heal or DPS with either, and I felt overwhelmed by the amount of buttons/abilities I had, specially in MW but also in WW. I need some help regarding Monk’s buttons.
